Profiler v2
Description

Profiler V2

Provides a profiled output between two breakpoints.

The output is linear or curved between the breakpoints and constant outside the breakpoints.

The shape of the curve between the breakpoints is defined by the magnitude of a 'Characteristic' input and a 'Type' selection; either Power or Sigmoid.

The following picture of a dock trend shows the outputs from two Profiler v2 function blocks; one with Power at 5.0 and the other with Sigmoid at 5.0. The breakpoints are all default, +/-100%, and the input is swept from -150% to 150%.

Availability
  • Available only in the dw2xx-v2 series products
  • Requires library: Process Control (option -05)
  • Firmware versions 0x2111 and later
