Linear Ramp 2
Description

Linear Ramp 2

Requires dwOption-05, Process Control.

The output follows the input, with minimum ramping times defined for four quadrants, forward-up, forward-down, reverse-up, and reverse-down.

Ramp-hold, ramp-reset inputs are available

Ramping flag output is available.

Availability
  • Available only in the dw2xx & dw2xx-v2 series products
  • Requires library: Process Control (option -05)
  • Firmware versions 0x2023 and later

Graphic with Parameters linRamp2

Parameters

Input Input, Read-write, Analog (signed 16-bit integer)
-327.67 % to 327.67 %

Linear Ramp 2 - Input

Ramp input. The output follows the input with minimum ramp times defined.

Forward Up Time Internal Parameter, Read-write, Time or Rate (signed 16-bit integer)
0.1 s to 3000.0 s

p>Linear Ramp 2 - Forward Up Time

Defines the minimum time, or maximum rate that the ramp output can increase when the ramp output is greater than zero.

Ramp times define the minimum time to produce a 100% change.

Ramp rates are defined as maximum percentage change per sec.

Switch units via the parameter contextual menu.

Forward Down Time Internal Parameter, Read-write, Time or Rate (signed 16-bit integer)
0.1 s to 3000.0 s

Linear Ramp 2 - Forward Down Time

Defines the minimum time, or maximum rate that the ramp output can decrease when the ramp output is greater than zero.

Ramp times define the minimum time to produce a 100% change.

Ramp rates are defined as maximum percentage change per sec.

Switch units via the parameter contextual menu.

Reverse Down Time Internal Parameter, Read-write, Time or Rate (signed 16-bit integer)
0.1 s to 3000.0 s

Linear Ramp 2 - Reverse Down Time

Defines the minimum time, or maximum rate that the ramp output can increase when the ramp output is less than zero.

Ramp times define the minimum time to produce a 100% change.

Ramp rates are defined as maximum percentage change per sec.

Switch units via the parameter contextual menu.

Reverse Up Time Internal Parameter, Read-write, Time or Rate (signed 16-bit integer)
0.1 s to 3000.0 s

Linear Ramp 2 - Reverse Up Time

Defines the minimum time, or maximum rate that the ramp output can decrease when the ramp output is less than zero.

Ramp times define the minimum time to produce a 100% change.

Ramp rates are defined as maximum percentage change per sec.

Switch units via the parameter contextual menu.

Hold Enable Input, Read-write, Boolean (signed 16-bit integer)

Linear Ramp 2 - Hold Enable

Ramp output is held at the current value while this parameter is enabled.

0 = Inactive
1 = Hold
Reset Enable Input, Read-write, Boolean (signed 16-bit integer)

Linear Ramp 2 - Reset Enable

Ramp output is immediately reset to 0.00% when this parameter is enabled.

0 = Inactive
1 = Reset
Output Output, Read-only, Set to default on hard initialization, Analog (signed 16-bit integer)
-327.67 % to 327.67 %

Linear Ramp 2 - Output

The ramp output follows the ramp input with minimum ramp times defined.

State Output, Read-only, Boolean (signed 16-bit integer)

Linear Ramp 2 - State

This ramping flag output is active, 'Ramping', when the ramp output is changing.

0 = Not Ramping
1 = Ramping
