Description

Event One Shot

The output is high for one execution of the function block engine immediately following receipt of an event.

Example Application

Registration applications often require a running average of a given number of previous samples. This block can be used to drive the Sample input of the Sampled Average function block following the receipt of e.g. a photo-eye event input.

Parameters

Event

The event input is freely connectable from any single encoder marker, digital input event, or FI Event output in any smarty on the local network.

Note that aliasing errors will occur when events occur faster than the the FBE timebase setpoint, typically 5ms, 200Hz.


Output Output, Read-only, Boolean (signed 16-bit integer)

0 = Low
1 = High
